Agave is a neighborhood of about 500 green-built modern architecture homes (and available lots!) located within minutes of both downtown Austin and the airport, east of Highway 183 on Martin Luther King Dr. (FM 969). This unique neighborhood has a variety of interesting designs in clean, contemporary architecture. It’s located on a hill, providing wonderful views of Austin.
Many homes in Agave are built using green building methods and offer really big energy efficiency savings. Agave Austin modern homes have open floor plans, gourmet kitchens, and luxury finishes. Homes range in size from 1,000 to 3400 sf. with luxurious features like quartz countertops, 12′ ceilings, modern appliances, two-speed air conditioners, tankless water heaters, and wood flooring. Some homes even have garage rooftop decks and screened-in porches off the master suite. Some lots have views of the greenbelt or downtown Austin.
The neighborhood has seen multiple developers since the 1980’s, so there are some Mediterranean-style homes and cute cottages in the older areas of Agave.
